Correct Answer
Hydro power

And here's something for you to take back

Plug Power makes PEM electrolyzers and fuel cells, key technology solutions for green hydrogen production.

Plug Power uses hydropower from Niagara Falls to power the facility that produces the electrolyzers and fuel cells. So, hold on - it uses its own electrolyzers to make green hydrogen which in tiurn is used in its own fuel cells to generate electricity that powers the facility to make more of these? Or is the electricity produced from the fuel cells at its facility supplied to the grid? Or perhaps it is both? Either way, makes it quite interesting.

Another interesting aspect is the use of hydro power for green hydrogen, as hydro power might not be as great a source as solar or wind power for green hydrogen.

Why so?

Because, while storage for solar and wind power is challenging and expensive, and thus its use to produce green hydrogen - which is actually a form of energy storage - seems to leveraging the power source quite well, storage for hydro power has been a lot more economical through pumped hydro storage facilities.

While the above argument might not be true for all the cases and contexts, use of hydro power for green hydrogen does make one wonder...
